It’s the icing on the cake to a picture perfect season. The Okanagan Rockets won just their second BCMML championship and captured their first Pacific Regional championship in the clubs 10 year history.
That means for the first time the Rockets are heading to the Telus Cup to compete on the national stage.
It wasn’t an easy road to get there. The club knocked off the provincially ranked Vancouver North West Giants and two time reigning national champs the Red Deer Chiefs to get there.
The Rockets are heading to Moose Jaw Sunday to compete for top spot in the country.
