Dog bites shark YouTube video goes viral

A couple of dogs appear to be rounding up a handful of sharks off the coast of Western Australia.

With over over 1.4 million views, YouTube footage of a dog “˜attacking’ a shark has become a top Internet hit.

The video shows two dogs swimming when one of the animals dips under water and appears to bite one of the sharks.

The camera also points out to show a beached dead dugong, which some speculate is the reason why the sharks are swimming close to the shore.

Some YouTube users have slammed the incident as irresponsible, stating the dogs should not have been allowed to swim with the marine life.

Sharks are protected in Australia. Despite the country’s huge coastlines, attacks on humans are relatively rare.
