PICKERING, Ont. – A teacher is facing a harassment charge in connection with allegations that a former student in Pickering, Ont., was repeatedly contacted.
Durham Region police say officers were called to a home in the community east of Toronto on Friday after reports that a woman was seen in a parked vehicle, watching the house of a former male student.
Jennifer Kurka, 40, of Toronto is charged with criminal harassment and has been released with conditions.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
