WINNIPEG – Musicians Erin Propp and Larry Roy hope their Juno nomination for best vocal jazz album will introduce more people to their music.
“We need to let more people know about that music that we’re doing, about her singing and her voice,” Roy said.

“He can play with tons of power in a way that touches people emotionally,” Propp said about her musical partner.
Propp and Roy earned the Juno nod for their independent release Courage, My Love.
The pair met while studying jazz music at the University of Manitoba.
“Stuff would just kind of fall out of the sky and into our lap when we would work together, and we knew right away that as a creative person, that’s really special when that happens,” Roy said.
