TORONTO — Clarissa Dickson Wright, half of the Two Fat Ladies cooking duo, died Saturday. She was 66.

The Food Network star passed away at the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh, Scotland after a lengthy illness.

A statement from her agents read: “In recent years, Clarissa often said: ‘I’ve had a fantastic life and I’ve done everything I could have wanted to do and more.’ Only a couple of weeks before her death, she was ringing friends asking them to check the (very occasional) general knowledge crossword clue she was struggling with.”
