Ten lucky high school seniors are a few weeks away from graduation… with some extra dollars from the provincial government.
Agriculture Minister Bob Bjornerud announced the recipients of the 2011 Saskatchewan Agriculture Student Scholarship… an award giving grade 12 students $1000 towards continuing their agriculture education.
One of the winners, Taylor Bohay, is from right here in Regina.
Bjornerud says the award helps encourage young people in their pursuit of agriculture related careers.
