Metro Vancouver says it is monitoring air quality in the region following a blaze on a barge near the stal̕əw̓asəm Bridge in Surrey.
Surrey Fire and Rescue Services says crews were called around 11 p.m. on Thursday to a fire on Musqueam Drive, which burned through the night.
Lots of smoke could be seen in the region.
No injuries were reported and the cause remains under investigation.

Why not use the English name for the bridge as well as the FN name so everyone knows to avoid the area. To a lot of people it will be called the new pattullo bridge if the English name is never used.
