Flooding in Saskatchewan could affect long weekend camping

<p>REGINA – Saskatchewan’s Tourism Ministry is warning people that flooding in some provincial parks could affect camping the May long weekend.</p> <p>The government says it is working to mitigate the impact of high waters.</p> <p>But it is advising people to check what the situation is at their favourite campgrounds before heading out.</p> <p>Rowan’s Ravine and Katepwa (kah-TEPP’-wah) Point provincial parks, as well as Regina Beach Recreation Site, will remain closed until June.</p> <p>Boat launches and other facilities are closed at Buffalo Pound, Echo Valley, Katepwa Point, Crooked Lake, Rowan’s Ravine and Regina Beach until further notice.</p> <p>Updates will be posted at http://www.saskparks.net</p&gt;
