SASKATOON – A wind chill warnings have been ended for the Saskatoon, the Regina and much of central Saskatchewan.
Extreme wind chill values are expected overnight and Tuesday morning.
Northwest winds of 15 to 20 km/h combined with temperatures near the minus 30 mark will create wind chill values of minus 40 or lower.

Wind chill values are expected to moderate by midday Tuesday.
At these extreme values, frostbite can occur in under 10 minutes.
Wheel chair buses for both school divisions in Saskatoon have been cancelled for Tuesday morning.
All buses for the Prairie Spirit School Division have been cancelled with the exception of Blaine Lake, Leask and Duck Lake.
Sun West School Division has cancelled all buses except for Kindersley, Marengo, Eatonia and Coleville.
Wind chill warnings were issued earlier in the day on Monday when temperatures across much of central Saskatchewan fell below minus 30 and wind chills across the region approached minus 50 in some areas.
Environment Canada issues wind chill warnings for southern Saskatchewan when the wind speed is forecast to be 15 km/h or greater and wind chill values of minus 40 or colder are expected to last for at least 3 hours.
