A car fire shut down part of Highway 1 in Coquitlam Thursday afternoon. There are no reports of any injuries.
The highway is now completely reopened again.

The car was on fire in the eastbound lanes, just before the Port Mann Bridge. At one point only one lane was getting through.
Traffic in the area is still heavily backed up and the evening commute home is likely to be a mess.
