The first Boeing Dreamliner to operate daily service in and out of Vancouver arrived at YVR on Wednesday.
China Southern Airlines will fly a new luxury aircraft out of Vancouver International Airport, taking advantage of the growing traffic between Vancouver and China.
YVR says it runs 75 weekly flights to China, the most of any airport in North America. The Boeing Dreamliner will offer both coach and first-class seats.
A ticket for the ‘good seats’ on this airline runs about $10,000.

Global News got an exclusive look inside the airline on Wednesday morning.
“What’s interesting is that China Southern has decided to put in a first-class cabin, so a really ultra luxury product, which means there are people that want to fly that way,” said Craig Richmond, president and CEO of Vancouver Airport Authority. “And you look at the population of China and you look at how wealthy they’re becoming and that’s really important because it means that business people and people with money will be coming from China on this airliner just because they want to experience a better level of travel.”
