WATCH: Jamaican bobsled team’s catchy reggae theme song

WATCH: Jamaican Bobsled theme song video has gone viral on YouTube

It’s Bobsled Time.

The final runs of the two-man bobsleigh happen on Monday, and the Jamaican bobsled team has a catchy tune to accompany their slide.

“The Bobsled Song”, uploaded to YouTube Thursday by the Jamaican Tourism Bureau, is a short reggae song and 8-bit animated music video that is designed to be watched as the Jamaican team does their run. In the video, animated bobsledders slide down the track in Sochi in time to music.

The video has gone viral with over 370,000 views on YouTube since it was posted on Feb. 13.

According to the video description, if you hit play at the exact time that the Jamaicans start their race, the video should match the race almost perfectly – with the shouted “To the left!” and “To the right!” coming during the appropriate right and left turns.

The Jamaican bobsledders, Winston Watts and Marvin Dixon, are crowd favourites despite coming in last place during the first two heats on Sunday.

They nearly didn’t make it to the Olympics – they had to crowdfund their trip to Sochi. Not only that, although the team arrived on time, their bobsleigh didn’t. They nearly had to practice with borrowed equipment, but thankfully their sled arrived just in time for the practice runs.

The 2-man bobsleigh heats continue Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time (6:30 a.m. Pacific).
