CALGARY – Master chocolatier Bernard Callebaut has partnered with LUX Restaurant Group to expand his brand across Canada and the United States.
Callebaut announced Thursday that the LUX group has taken a non-controlling equity position in Papa Chocolat, Callebaut’s new enterprise, which will allow him to move forward with the construction of a new 5,500 square foot chocolate factory in downtown Calgary. It will have the ability to expand to 12,000 square feet.
It will be located at the corner of 10th Avenue and 1st Street S.E.
“We estimate we will be operational later this summer,” said Callebaut. “We will also continue to open Papa Chocolat corporate stores in various markets including Calgary.”
