BC Emergency Health Services confirmed that multiple ambulances were dispatched to the scene but no one was taken to the hospital.

It appears to be a single-vehicle collision.

All eastbound lanes were closed from 287 Street to Jim Robson Way.

There was also a road closure on 240 Street from River Road to Hill Avenue.

All roads are now opened.

Ridge Meadows RCMP described it as a “serious motor vehicle incident” that has closed the road but did not provide any additional details on what happened.

Officers with the Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service were on the scene investigating.
