PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A man was hospitalized for gunshot wound after a shooting in Prince Albert, Sask. on Saturday.

At 8:43 a.m., police received a call of a shooting inside a residence in the 1000-block of 1st Street East.

A victim had been shot in his upper body.

His injury is non-life threatening and he is expected to fully recover in hospital.

The suspect(s) responsible had fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The investigation is ongoing.
