MONTREAL – It’s a case that Montreal police are now treating as a possible homicide.
On Wednesday, investigators and forensic specialists spent the day inside the home of Tricia Boisvert.
They combed through her apartment in the Montreal neighbourhood of Little Burgundy, looking for new clues.
The 36-year-old was reported missing last Friday.

Police said that they believe she may have been the victim of a kidnapping.
Witnesses told police that Boisvert was seen being forced into her car around 7 p.m. Friday night.
Two men were apparently in the vehicle with her.
One of the suspects could be 30-year-old Philippe Steele-Morin, a Gatineau resident wanted by police for crimes in a domestic violence case against another woman.
“The investigators believe he may be the last person that has seen Tricia Boisvert,” constable Dany Richer told Global News.
“We are looking for him, trying to get more information on him.”
Police think Steele-Morin, and possibly Boisvert, may be in the Gatineau-Ottawa area.
“We’re pretty shaken up, just devastated to think this would happen,” said Boisvert’s uncle, Mark Nixdorf.
He said that last Thursday, a day before she was reported missing, his niece appeared to be in good spirits.
“On Thursday, she had an hour and a half conversation with my mother,” Nixdorf said.
“It was a normal conversation, joking around, laughing on the phone, getting caught up, everything was good.”
Montreal Police are asking for the public’s help.
They hope someone can spot Boisvert’s vehicle, a black 2008 Pontiac G-6, with a Quebec plate: 156-XQG.
Anyone with information are asked to call 9-1-1 or the police Info-Crime line at 514-393-1133.
