Massive crowd expected for Pink concert in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – Pink’s “The Truth About Love” show will get underway Wednesday at Credit Union Centre (CUC) with a crowd of over 15,000 expected to attend so motorists may be in trouble with Saskatoon traffic.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert is expected to start at 7:30 p.m.

Saskatoon Police are asking motorists travelling to CUC this evening to allow extra driving time and to come early.

Road conditions are expected to worsen later today, due to freezing and high winds.

Officers will be on site, however high volumes of traffic are expected in addition to regular commuters. Motorists are asked to follow the directions of police and parking attendants for faster and safer travel.

Concert-goers are asked to consider alternate forms of transportation like car pooling and Saskatoon Transit.

Special Shuttle buses are available at a $5 round trip fee starting at 6:15 p.m. from the following locations:

  • Lawson Heights Mall
  • The Centre Mall
  • Market Mall
  • Confederation Mall Transit Terminal
  • Downtown Bus Mall (*regular fare applies)

Special needs transportation is available through regular booking procedures.
