Man charged after hacking Facebook account to lure teens

CALGARY- More charges have been laid against a man in connection with online luring.

Back in October, the man was charged after a concerned parent called police after finding sexually exploitive conversations on her 13-year-old daughter’s Facebook account. Messages included requests that the victim send naked photographs, and perform sexual acts for money.

It’s believed the man hacked into an account belonging to someone named ‘Nikki Wright,’ and further investigation revealed a 14-year-old girl had been befriended by the same suspect, and asked to do similar things.

33-year-old Bojan Ambrus of Calgary now faces a number of additional charges including luring and possession child pornography. He’s set to appear in court on March 7.
