BOUCHERVILLE, Que. – Uni-Select Inc. (TSX:UNS) has acquired a Florida paint supply business that serves collision repair shops, the Quebec-based automotive distributor announced Tuesday.
The purchase will add Auto Paint and Supply of Lakeland Inc. to Uni-Select’s subsidiary, FinishMaster Inc., which operates in 28 states.

FinishMaster will have 29 locations in Florida after adding two from APS.
Uni-Select did not disclose financial details of the APS deal.
Based in Boucherville near Montreal, Uni-Select is a North American distributor of replacement parts, equipment, tools, accessories, paint and related products for motor vehicles.
