Vancouver Police have arrested a Vancouver man as part of the 2010 international investigation into child porn dubbed Project Sanctuary.
On Jan. 11, the Vancouver police vice unit executed a search warrant and arrested 40-year-old Kenneth Douglas Sather of Vancouver in connection with the Toronto Police Service initiative called Project Sanctuary. This ongoing project is focusing on finding and arresting people allegedly involved in the possession and distribution of child pornography.
Sather has been charged with two counts of distribution of child pornography, and three counts of possession of child pornography. He was in court Wednesday and has since been released from custody with a number of strict conditions.
