OLIVER – Was the recreational vehicle deliberately torched?
That’s what investigators are trying to determine after a 5th wheel travel trailer was destroyed by fire early Friday morning in Oliver.
It was just after 1 a-m when firefighters were called to an orchard property off Highway 97 on Road Six to find the RV engulfed in flames.
The fire is believed to be suspicious.
The owner of the 5th wheel had been using it as his permanent residence.
A neighbour says he last saw the man on Wednesday.
Police are trying to determine his whereabouts.
