A multi-family residential building on Austin Street North in Winnipeg caught on fire on March 23. Officials say no one was injured.

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) said crews were at the scene of a residential fire on Saturday afternoon.Crews responded to a fire in a two-and-a-half-storey residential building in the 200 block of Austin Street North, at 4:45 p.m.
The city of Winnipeg’s Emergency Social Services team helped find temporary accommodations for residents affected y a house fire on Austin Street North on March 23.

The cause of the fire, officials said, is under investigation. The building is said to have sustained fire, water, and smoke damage but no injuries were reported.
The fire was declared under control about half an hour later.The city’s Emergency Social Services team was deployed to assist displaced residents in finding temporary accommodations.
