Edmonton police ask for help finding woman not heard from in months

EDMONTON – Police are trying to find an Edmonton woman whose family has not seen or heard from her since August.

Concerned for her well-being, Shelly Tanis Dene’s family reported the 26-year-old missing on Nov. 8. It’s reportedly unusual for her to be out of contact for this long.

At the time of her disappearance, she was living at a home in the area of 114 Street and 102 Avenue.

Dene is Aboriginal, and is described as being 5’7″ tall, and weighing 111 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone who may have seen or spoken to her in the last four months, or know where she might be, is asked to call police at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
