It’s currently unknown what drew several police vehicles to Plaza 33 on Highway 33 in Rutland, including the RCMP’s Southeast District Emergency Response Team.

In a statement issued just before 2 p.m., Kelowna RCMP said the incident did not involve a financial institution in the plaza, nor any of the surrounding businesses.
