Toronto police say a woman has life-threatening injuries after being stabbed at an apartment building on Monday morning.
Police said the stabbing happened near Birchmount Road and Eglinton Avenue East at around 5:18 a.m.
A woman was taken to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition “as a result of being stabbed,” police said.

Investigators said a man is in custody. It is unclear what led up to the stabbing.
