The Law Society of Ontario (LSO) has received a complaint alleging Toronto lawyer Promise Holmes Skinner has built a career around an Indigenous identity that she cannot prove, including teaching Indigenous law at the University of Toronto. As Melissa Ridgen reports, the complaint seeks to put the LSO on the hook to make sure its members are who they claim to be.
