Known as the oldest existing gurdwara in North America, the Gur Sikh Temple in Abbotsford is preserved as a National Historic Site and home to the Sikh Heritage Museum. Global's Safeeya Pirani visits the landmark to learn about the contributions of the Sikh pioneers in the early 1900s, and how it remains a lasting symbol for the community.
