Alberta Prosperity Project unveils constitution discussion document
Description
August 21, 2026
The Alberta Prosperity Project's 54-page constitution outlines its principles, including Albertan's rights and freedoms, elections, and branches of government. APP leader Mitch Sylvestre says the document is meant to spur discussion on what an independent Alberta could look like. Political scientist Lori Williams says with less than two months to go before referendum day, it raises serious questions about what separatists' visions for an independent Alberta are and if it would work. Gates Guarin has the details.
