Rubina has been working as a journalist since 1999. She’s worked on three continents covering everything from foreign affairs to breaking local news. Her passion to cover personal finance started during the 2008 financial crisis when she realized how little we all know about money matters. At Corus, she is 640 Toronto’s personal finance expert, she also has a regular segment on Global News Toronto on Thursdays called “Your Money.” As well she regularly appears on The Morning Show to share her TMS Money Saver Tips. When she’s not talking about money she enjoys swimming and hiking and generally being outdoors. She lives with her husband and two kids in Oakville, Ontario.
