BCRC’s Dr. Charles Drew Blood Drive arose out of a shared need with Héma-Québec to increase the number of blood donations from the black community. The black community faces shortages with the growing number of Sickle-Cell, kidney disease, and other conditions requiring blood and tissue matching. This will be our sixth year putting together such a project and would like to celebrate our sixth year by making this year`s drive truly exceptional.
