A compelling new dance work created and choreographed by Kimberley Cooper featuring the DJD Company and original live music played by a four piece band led by Calgary musician and trombonist Carsten Rubeling.
Nervous Systems is a whirlwind exploration of the wonders of our bodies, the speed of our senses and the miracle of the human brain. Revel in the flair and talent of the dancers as they investigate the extraordinary miracle of our nervous systems. Created and choreographed by DJD Artistic Director Kimberley Cooper, this performance features the DJD Company of 11 dancers in collaboration with a 4-piece band. Join us for a whimsical journey of wonder set to an original soundtrack with driving groove and soaring horns.
