This winter, 101.5 The Wolf, Global Peterborough, 100.5 Fresh Radio, along with Kawartha TV & Stereo, urge our listeners / viewers to give whatever they can afford to Kawartha Food Share.
Hunger in Canada is a lot more common than you think.
In fact, 1 in 7 Canadians are food insecure. Sadly, with the rising cost of groceries, the “Feed The Need” is not going away.
But you can help.
For every dollar you donate, Kawartha Food Share can purchase $3 of food for those living with food insecurity in our community.
It’s a basic human need that deserves everyone’s attention.

*If you are unable to make a monetary donation, Kawartha Food Share also greatly appreciates food donations.
Donations can be brought to the warehouse at 665 Neal Drive, Unit 1 or left in any of their collection bins located in all local grocery stores.
Any and all donations are welcomed, especially, tuna, pasta sauce, pasta noodles, canned vegetables and school snacks for children.
