Hello all. My event is a Public Train & Hobby show promoting the hobby of Model Railways to all ages. I’ve been a participant for many years in these shows all over BC and now I’ve decided to Host my own show. Because of Covid, this will be only the second train hobby show in the past 3 years. While many hobby enthusiasts will be in attendance, it will also be fun and interesting to families and children. CN Police will attend to talk about safety around Railways and some train displays will be there for children to watch and participate. Pricing for this event will be roughly 40% less than the norm in order to better attract ‘first timers’ and families. Surrey Fairground at the Shannon Hall from 10am – 4pm Saturday, Nov 12th. An event like this has never happened before in Surrey and this is an experiment to see if it’s viable. I believe it’s very viable. The 12th will prove me right or wrong but it’s worth the effort.
