BLINDSIDE is an entirely true comedy about growing up in Northern Ontario with a glass eye. This autobiographical piece is about my childhood and how I overcame my fear of being different when I was 7 years old. With the help of my cat, a pair of sunglasses, and an unwanted superpower, I discover I have what it takes to stand up to my bullies at my new school and come to terms with my disability. In BLINDSIDE, I share my troubled youth with vulnerability and humor by using a mix of storytelling, dance, projection, and puppetry featuring my glass eye.
