Songs for Service Dogs

This year on October 1st, the first annual Songs for Service Dogs event will take place to raise funds for the training of therapeutic Service dogs for PTSD.

Songs for Service Dogs will feature multi award winning Canadian country recording artist, Chris Melanson. Chris recently won “International Male Single of the Year “Gold” for Last to Say Goodbye, a song he wrote and recorded. He was nominated for seven awards including best duet which he performed and recorded with Georgette Jones (daughter of the famous George Jones) and was presented his award in Atlanta by the International Singer Songwriter Association.

The evening will also showcase music by Moncton’s popular country band Rewind with Joe & Linda Howe; Susan Layton from Sussex and 2 CAV Dunkirk members Steve Vinqvist (Vice President); Eve Allen and Kimberly Toye from Shemogue.

There will be door prizes and a 50/50 draw. The event will take place at Knights of Columbus Hall, 91 Murphy Street, Moncton October 1st 6-9 pm. Door open at 5 pm. Tickets are limited.
