The World Junior Hockey Championship is happening this August 9-20 in Edmonton after being rescheduled due to Covid-19.

This could be one of the best World Junior teams ever assembled with roster full or top draft picks and some amazing future stars. All eyes will be on Shane Wright – who is projected to go #1 in the NHL Draft to the Montreal Canadiens. Xavier Bourgault, selected in the first round (No. 24) of the 2021 NHL Draft by the Oilers, will represent Canada at the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship as one of two prospects participating in the tournament from the organization.
