Learn how to make encaustic paintings using beeswax! In this introductory workshop, students will learn to paint with the encaustic iron using plain and pigmented medium made with beeswax. Paintings will be embellished with oil sticks, pan pastels, inks and many other materials. Fee: $60 Date: Saturday, June 18th Time: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Location: PDCAC Community Room at the Leir House Cultural Centre (220 Manor Park Avenue) * Max 8 participants. **Participants will be asked to wear a mask during the duration of the workshop.
