Oliver Twist

St. George’s School Drama Department is thrilled to present Oliver Twist, running April 21–23, 2022 at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium at the Senior School. This theatrical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic by award-winning playwright Robert Thomas Noll features Liam Hughes (Peacemaker, Star Trek: Discovery, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Flash) starring in the title role alongside a talented, gender-neutral cast of Grade 8–10 students. The story follows Oliver, an orphan who is in search of a new family and a loving home. His clear sense of right and wrong always gets him in trouble with the powerful bullies around him. Memorable characters that are sure to steal the show include the courageous Nancy (Zoya Reebye) and her abusive boyfriend Bill Sikes (William Skene); the cunning and conflicted Fagin (Lucy Kenny) and his gang; and the unforgettable, self-styled master pickpocket The Artful Dodger (Ashvin Bhangav). Featuring professional quality lighting, sound, staging, and set design, this dynamic production spearheaded by award-winning director Jamie Donnici is guaranteed to delight audience members of all ages!
