Come to Fort Calgary to learn how to make your very own medicine bag from animal hides and leather lacing. Chantal Stormsong Chagnon, a Cree Métis artist and storyteller, will guide you through this crafting workshop, while providing teachings and stories along the way. All materials, including some sacred medicines for your bag, are provided. Arrive early to explore museum exhibitions, including a special display of a Métis Octopus bag for inspiration. Workspaces will be socially distanced and set up in large-capacity room.
