Canstruction® Calgary is excited to once again bring together teams of engineers, designers, architects and builders to create extraordinary structures out of non-perishable food items. This year, structures for the 16th annual event will be built around the theme: Welcome to the Jungle. Calgarians are invited to observe the construction of five unique structures in Southcentre Mall’s Centre Court on March 10th. The structures will be judged, exhibited to the public and then deconstructed, with food going to the Calgary Food Bank. This year, 29,655 cans of food will be donated by the five participating teams. Structures will remain on display at the mall until March 17th.
