Burnaby is trying to build infrastructure for girls to play baseball. There are no girls leagues so Burnaby is now accepting registrations for girls to play on a team just for them so that they can play with each other! This is a historical move and one that communities in Vancouver and Surrey are supporting by signing up girls to play on their own teams. It is long overdue for girls to have a league of their own.
