1st Annual Twisted Trauma Foundation Charity Hockey Game

On Saturday, November 13, 2021 the 1st Annual Twisted Trauma Foundation Charity Hockey Game will take place from 8pm-10pm at the Lindsay Recreational Complex in Lindsay.

The game will feature City of Kawartha Lakes Frontline Workers with special captain Darryl James ( Close Kicks / The Strumbellas) VS Peterborough County Frontline Workers with special captain Shawn Brennan (Mental Health Advocate). The game is being sponsored by Flato Developments, Ctrl V-Lindsay, and Mariposa Electric.
Door prizes from North Ward Coffee, Ctrl V, ILASH Lindsay, Don’t Drive Distracted-#IPINKYSWEAR, and The Coach & Horses Pub.

The Twisted Trauma Foundation was started by Jen and Jon Perrin. Jon is a First Responder living with PTSD, anxiety and depression, while Jen is a nurse (manager) with over 20+ years of nursing experience. The Twisted Trauma Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization that provides peer support to individuals and their families that are living with mental health illnesses or injuries. They also raise awareness and money for mental health programs and initiatives in our communities. Twisted Trauma has also started the Twisted Trauma Feed it Forward Program where anyone in need of a meal (pizza slice & pop) can attend Jacked Up Pizza or Tony’s Best Pizza and Wings in Lindsay, grab a prepaid voucher off the bulletin board in store and use no questions asked. You can also attend North Ward Coffee for a free coffee, tea, or small hot chocolate.

All proceeds from the game will go to the Twisted Trauma Foundation and be used for a donation to a mental health program in the City of Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough County.
