Due to popular demand, Extended Play, our fusion of words and music is back! This year we’re featuring three readings with inspiring Okanagan-based writers in new fiction, non-fiction and short stories.
Hear Corinna Chong, novelist and 2021 CBC Short Story Prize winner; be-there-first for Brian Isaac Taylor’s reading from his upcoming novel, A Quiet Place and join Joanna Chiu, authour, journalist, foreign correspondent as she shares captivating selections from China Unbound, her chronicle of China’s dramatic moves for global power, with accompanying human rights abuses around the world.
In between each reading we’ll cleanse our literary palates with enchanting music from Kelowna folk duo Josh + Bex. Join us at Extended Play: celebrating new music, new fiction, non-fiction and short stories from around the valley.
