While the beautiful and cultural islands of Polynesia share similarities, each island is unique and has specific songs and dance, cultural practices and arts that are special to its’ people. In this workshop, you will learn about the exotic island Rapa Nui (formally known as Easter Island or Isla de Pascua in Spanish). Learn basic words and vocabulary in Rapa Nui language, try your hand at traditional dances, and become acquainted with different pieces of cultural attire and wardrobe! You are cordially invited! Class length: 1 – 1.5 hours Workshop Fee: Attendance: $10. Please Note: This is a LIVE online workshop presented via Zoom. Requires participants to download Zoom in advance with a computer, laptop or mobile device with audio.
