S.G.S. ONLINE 50/50 RAFFLE

Saskatchewan Genealogical Society ONLINE 50/50 RAFFLE.  Proceeds from this fundraiser will be directed at improving technology, programs and services at SGS, as well as support for programming at the branch level.  In order to do all this, we need to grow that prize pot!  As of October 6th, the pot was at $5,990 so we have a long way to go!

With funding cuts and the impacts of Covid-19, the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society is facing many challenges and wants to be able to continue to help people with the study, research and preservation of genealogy and family history in Saskatchewan.  SGS needs to be able to adapt and change with the current environment to remain relevant.  Let’s make this fundraiser a success for all of us!

What are you waiting for?  If you haven’t already bought your ticket or tickets yet – please do so now – time is running out!  The draw date is October 30, 2020 – now less than 4 weeks away!  A win would sure make Christmas shopping a lot easier this year – or how about that new computer you’ve been wanting to buy to use for your genealogy research?  

We also really need your help in spreading the word about the SGS Online 50/50 Raffle.  Please let your neighbors, friends, co-workers, etc. know about the raffle and encourage them to help grow the pot!  For our out-of-province members, provincial gaming regulations require that you must be in Saskatchewan at the time of purchase – you do not have to live in Saskatchewan to win.  Do you have friends or family in Saskatchewan?  Ask them to buy your tickets and suggest they buy some for themselves at the same time.
