Holiday Spectactular

Kelowna Actors Studio is giving a special gift this holiday season: A Kelowna Actors Studio Holiday Spectacular, a new musical full of old classics, Christmas chestnuts, memories, laughs and Holiday spirit. Blending familiar songs and recordings with moments from television, movies and radio that have become part of our collective memories, the sounds, sights and themes that defined the holiday season for a century. With selections including: salutes to our favourite famous personalities, romantic holiday standards, animated specials, classic movies, and more, all presented in the format of a TV Holiday Special that used to be staples of the family winter experience. With comedy, music and mostly a lot of heart! In a two-hour reflection between the years of 1900 and now, the century that gave us the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular and Macy’s Parade, White Christmas and The Grinch. For children, it’s a chance to experience many of the cherished holiday moments their parents enjoyed. And for you grown-ups, it’s a season you’ll remember well. Where else can you get Scrooge, George Bailey, Rudolf and “Santa Baby” in one show, along with mistletoe and “carols ‘round the tree”?
