On Saturday, February 15th, 2020 the Canadian Progress Club – Edmonton Downtown chapter will be hosting the 2020 Capital Classic Hockey Tournament on Lake Summerside. It’s an old fashioned 3-on-3 round-robin, done Canadian style in the great outdoors – next to a beer tent! 50 teams (5 players per team) will be facing off to raise the Capital Classic Cup, and proceeds for these great local children’s charities: Uncles & Aunts at Large, AdaptAbilities and Camp Warwa. Families and spectators are welcome! Register A Team and come down to enjoy a day on the ice with friends, heated beer garden, fire pits, live entertainment, and food from our on-site vendors. Plenty of entertainment for the whole family! Event Details & Schedule • Equipment required: skates, gloves, sticks and helmets (must be worn during all games). • Location: Lake Summerside 1720 88 St. SW, Edmonton • Team Check-in: February 15th , 2020 @ 9 am • Opening Ceremonies: 9:45 am • Games Begin: 10 am • Live Entertainment Begins: 12:00 pm • Games End: 5 pm • Beer Gardens Last Call: 6 pm
