Donburi Lunches return to the Japanese Cultural Centre Friday, January 10 with true Japanese specials including Tekkadon (maguro sashimi on a bed of rice) and also a Teriyaki Chicken Bento. The popular bi-weekly fundraiser will continue January 24, February 7 & 21, March 13 & 27, and April 24. All lunches feature authentic, freshly made Japanese cuisine at reasonable prices and offer Shrimp & Vegetable Donburi and freshly made sushi in 3 varieties, satsumage (fish cake), miso soup, rice, Japanese tea and manju in friendly surroundings.
