8th Annual “Sutton Warm & Fuzzy Shelter Collection” As frost gathers on the pumpkins, Sutton is gearing up for our seventh annual “Warm & Fuzzy Shelter Collection.” This warm weather outer wear is utilized by Gateway Shelter, Howard House, Woman’s Transition House and spread throughout the community to meet the need of keeping our citizens warm and secure. Our crew delivers to Howard House and the agencies meet there to take away what they need for those that rely on them. On Tuesday November 5th, all of our Realtors and Staff will be out in our parking lot from 11:30 – 1:00 for a drive through collection! You don’t even have to leave your car; we’ll grab your donations and load them into a waiting van. We will be collecting: Winter coats, hats, scarves, mittens and gloves, winter boots, blankets and towels. (Please do not include other clothing unless it is geared for winter outdoor wear.) This year we will also accept cash donations to take along with the clothing and make sure you receive a tax receipt for any amount over $20.00. Also between October 28 – November 8th during business hours items can be dropped at Sutton’s office at 2749 30th Street (across from Journey Inn).
