DONBURI LUNCHEONS, the Japanese Cultural Centre’s bi-weekly fundraiser returns on Friday September 27, 2019 and will continue every second Friday until May 2020. These lunches are a fixture on the lunch circuit for many who enjoy authentic, freshly made Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price. All lunches offer a delightful Shrimp Donburi and freshly made sushi in 3 varieties, satsumage (fish cake), miso soup, rice and manju. Individual Donburi offer an additional main dish and a Bento (boxed lunch). September 27 the special features are Nikudon (beef) and Salmon Teriyaki Bento. Following dates are October 11 & 25, November 8 & 22 with different specials each time! Check our website http://www.jcamwpg.ca for details. Money raised is used to fund the operation of the Japanese Cultural Association of Manitoba, a federally registered charity!
